WORKSHOP

PODCAST PRODUCTION

You’ve been sitting on a podcast idea for months… Maybe even years

You know your ideas hold value, but you keep second-guessing the concept, your voice, or whether it’s worth it.

Deep down, you want a podcast that positions you as a go-to voice in your field - one that earns recognition, leads to meaningful opportunities, and reflects your standards of craft.

You just haven’t found the right creative partner to bring it to life.

If This Sounds Familiar…

The Goal: A Podcast That Feels Like You - Only Elevated

A show that’s not just good - it’s different.

It has a clear editorial point of view, a strong identity, and substance that lasts.

It’s the kind of podcast that quietly builds your reputation, opens doors, and draws aligned clients or collaborators before you even make a pitch.

This could look like:
  • Becoming known for your thought leadership and originality
  • Attracting clients who are already convinced they want to work with you
  • Being invited to panels, interviews, and global stages that align with your work

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about chasing attention… It’s about creating something that matters, both to your audience and to your body of work.

Right now, your ideas are there… But the execution doesn’t match the quality of your thinking.

  • Maybe your episodes sound fine, but not memorable.
  • Maybe you launched once, then stopped after a few episodes.
  • Or maybe you haven’t started at all because you’re tired of DIY trial and error.

You’re not alone. Most podcasters launch fast but fade by episode seven, because they never built a strong creative and production foundation.

That’s where this partnership comes in.

The Editorial Edge

Most podcast programs teach you how to press record. 1:1 Editorial Podcast Production goes far beyond that - we design a show that’s worth publishing.

From concept to structure to storytelling, your podcast will feel editorial, elevated, and unmistakably yours.

The Done-For-You Craftsmanship

This isn’t a coaching program. It’s a partnership where your ideas meet full creative execution.

You bring the ideas and insight; I handle the creative direction, structure, and production, so you can focus on the message, not the mechanics.

Built for Consistency & Longevity

This process doesn’t just help you launch… It helps you stay consistent.

With a clear editorial foundation, production systems, and ongoing support, your podcast becomes a long-term asset that continues to open doors and build authority long after the first release.

What’s Getting in the Way

What Makes This Partnership Different

We’ll Build a Podcast That Is:

  • Bold - because your concept is distinct
  • Refined - because your content has substance and taste
  • Impossible to Ignore - because it’s positioned to stand out in your niche
✅ Your episodes finally represent your level of creativity, substance, and experience

✅ Your listeners stay through the whole episode because it feels curated for them

✅ Your show aligns with your bigger goals - from visibility to client attraction to credibility in your field

When your podcast is differentiated and compelling:

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Everything that happens before you press record

  • Episode Angle Development: Research and ideation to shape the most compelling approach for your topic
  • Episode Structure & Flow: Build a clear, engaging narrative arc that holds attention.
  • Content Development & Scripting: Flesh out outlines or scripts, craft hooks and takeaways, and prepare transitions for a seamless story
  • Interview Preparation: Design semi-structured questions that draw out meaningful, memorable insights from guests

Pre-Production - The Foundation

Because pre-production is fully handled, you can show up focused, confident, and prepared

You’ll receive a detailed recording guide with talking points, cues, and run-of-show - so all you have to do is record.

Whether you’re recording independently or in-studio, I’ll also review your setup and sound to ensure every episode meets professional standards.

Recording - You Just Show Up

Once the recording is complete, I take it from there

  • Editorial Review: Listen to the full episode (audio and/or video) and provide detailed edit notes on pacing, clarity, and storytelling
  • Editing Oversight: Tighten content, remove filler, and polish transitions for a professional, cohesive sound
  • Branding & Written Assets: Craft a compelling episode title and description; Write concise show notes or an episode summary; Create a timestamp breakdown highlighting key moments
  • Short-Form Clip Identification: Identify segments from the episode that can be repurposed into short-form content to extend your reach and reinforce your message

BOOK A DISCOVERY CALL

Yen Teng is the founder and host of Pawspectives Petcast, an educational interview podcast that explores pet wellness through expert insights, emotional storytelling, and cultural nuance across Southeast Asia.

CASE STUDY: PAWSPECTIVES PETCAST | Building a Thoughtful, Culturally Rooted Show From the Ground Up

Client Overview

When we first started working together, Pawspectives Petcast didn’t exist yet. Yen Teng had no podcast, no workflow, and wasn’t sure how to begin.

Through 1:1 Editorial Podcast Production, we built everything from the ground up - developing and launching a show designed to:

  • Share meaningful, in-depth conversations in the pet space
  • Spotlight Southeast Asian voices and culturally rooted stories
  • Establish credibility and visibility as a thoughtful voice in the industry
  • Navigate emotional and ethically complex topics with clarity and care

Project Objective

✅ Strategic Show Development - Shaped the show’s positioning and format, including how to craft questions that draw out guests’ best insights and hook listeners from the start

✅ Content Development - Co-developed episode structures, narrative arcs, and techniques to balance expert advice with emotionally resonant storytelling

✅ Post-Production Feedback - Reviewed draft edits with detailed, actionable notes - offering suggestions that consistently elevated the final product and sharpened Yen Teng’s editorial instincts as a host

✅ Coaching & Creative Mentorship - Helped Yen Teng find her signature voice as a host - knowing which stories, insights, and lived experiences to draw on to express her authority naturally and confidently

My Role

What We Created

Impact

Pawspectives Petcast launched as a consistently published, long-form show with a strong visual content strategy - proving that deep, educational conversations can still thrive in today’s short-form-driven landscape.

  • 100% guest pitch success rate, featuring both high-profile and niche experts

  • Robust short-form repurposing across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, expanding reach while maintaining message integrity

  • Growing inbound interest from sponsors, collaborators, and guest speakers

  • Clear brand voice and identity across platforms

Yen Teng’s growth as a host has been remarkable - with sharper storytelling, stronger follow-ups, and greater confidence behind the mic.

Listeners regularly comment on the show’s emotional depth and authenticity, especially in episodes exploring grief, ethics, and cultural taboos.

Her visibility has expanded regionally, positioning her as a leading voice in pet wellness conversations across Southeast Asia.

Colleagues now see her as confident, articulate, and capable of representing her organization publicly.

And in 2025, Pawspectives Petcast was awarded “Best New Podcast” at the Asia Podcast Awards.

On a deeper level, Yen Teng has gained clarity on her long-term vision and the legacy she wants to build through her show. She’s become more comfortable with visibility, more grounded in her leadership, and more discerning as a creator.

We launched Pawspectives Petcast in September 2024 - a podcast designed to be both emotionally moving and culturally relevant.

Together, we developed a repeatable, recognizable episode format blending deep-dive interviews, live demonstrations, and rich visual storytelling.

We also built streamlined guest preparation systems to ensure every conversation felt grounded, thoughtful, and high-quality.

The show now features standout episodes on topics such as grief, pet sleep health, senior care, taxidermy, and stray rescue - earning trust and resonance across Southeast Asia’s pet community.

Steph is the host and creator of In Mother Words, a podcast that explores the unspoken realities of motherhood - identity, guilt, self-rediscovery, and the quiet resilience that often goes unseen.

CASE STUDY: IN MOTHER WORDS | Crafting Reflective, Vulnerable Storytelling

Client Overview

When we began working together, Steph had a clear desire to create something deeper than typical “mom content.” She wanted a show that honored the inner world of motherhood - grounded in emotional truth, not perfection.

Project Objective

✅ Strategic Show Development - Designed the show’s core framework, including its recurring emotional themes, pacing, and tone. Helped Steph evolve her storytelling approach across episodes to create a consistent, recognizable cadence

✅ Content Development - Provided detailed editorial feedback on episode outlines, interview prep, and narrative flow - ensuring each story unfolded with emotional depth and clarity

✅ Post-Production Feedback - Reviewed edited drafts with granular notes on pacing, transitions, and tone - ensuring the final cut always felt intentional, grounded, and emotionally resonant

✅ Coaching & Creative Mentorship - Supported Steph in honing her creative confidence, helping her distinguish between what feels “true” versus what feels “expected,” and empowering her to take ownership of her evolving body of work

My Role

What We Created

Impact

In Mother Words has grown into a thoughtful, emotionally intelligent podcast. Steph has developed a signature editorial voice - calm yet incisive, vulnerable yet composed.

The show continues to build loyal listenership and emotional trust - proving that slow, honest storytelling can still cut through a crowded content landscape.
Together, we’ve produced and published ongoing episodes exploring the nuances of motherhood.
